4) On Deck for Tomorrow

Does your teen need something to do this summer? How about babysitting? Kirkendall Public Library will host a Red Cross babysitting class tomorrow starting at 9:30 a.m. This course gives youth ages 11 to 15 years old the knowledge and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. For a registration of fee of $85, the class combines video, activities, hands-on skills training and discussion for a complete learning experience.

Register by calling the Red Cross at (800) 733-2767.

5) The Weather

Today should be a beautiful day with the forecast calling for mostly sunny skies and a high temperature near 77 degrees. Tonight expect mainly clear skies early with a few clouds later. The overnight low should be near 54 degrees.
