OWI, Alcohol-Related Charges From This Week's Ankeny Police Blotter
A roundup of operating a vehicle while intoxicated charges extracted from our recent police blotters provided by the Ankeny Police Department.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.
April 9
Catina M. Moffitt, 35, Des Moines, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, excessive speed (11-15 mph over) and failure to provide proof of insurance following a traffic stop that occurred in the 600 block of North Ankeny Boulevard.
April 14
Jacob A. Clay, 18, Ankeny, was charged with operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 500 block of Southeast Second Street.
April 15
Kelly R. Guynn, 37, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and causing an accident resulting in property damage following a traffic stop that occurred in the 100 block of West First Street.
April 16
Mark W. Westendorf, 32, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred 1700 block of Northwest Greenwood Street.
April 17
Lori A. Russell, 48, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 300 block of South Ankeny Boulevard.
April 18
Patrick J. Nervig, 30, Calmar, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop that occurred in the 4000 block of Northwest Fifth Street.
April 19
Sara M. Lewis, 26, Ankeny, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of South Ankeny Boulevard and Southeast Magazine Road.
