Want to give the kids a chance to channel their inner artists? Swing by drop-in craft time today at Kirkendall Public Library. The event starts at 10 a.m. and no registration is required.
2) Tonight's Movie Under the Stars
Bring a blanket, a chair and your favorite snack and you have all the ingredients for a Friday night at Ankeny Parks and Recreation’s annual 'Movie Under the Stars'. Movies are played at Wagner Park, starting at dusk, and are free and open to the public.
This week's movie is "Despicable Me."
3) On Deck for Tomorrow
Canine Craze in Urbandale, in partnership with the Ankeny Dog Park, will host a dog park behavior education class tomorrow at Canine Craze, located at 3101 104th St. in Urbandale. Starting at 9 a.m., tomorrow's four-hour session includes detailed pictures, descriptions, videos, visual aids and discussion in preparation for our Ankeny Dog Park site visit.
