Some may say this is risky putting a blog up like this because we are in a serious time. I agree, however we can't all be scared, we have to be able to laugh.
Let me start off with a good quote by Woody Allen, "Laughter is the most fun you can have with your clothes on"
I find myself getting caught up in the Political discussions and see allot of mud slinging. People are passionate about what they believe is best for the country. Then personal attacks ensues. So on this blog, lets all laugh a little. Put some jokes up about past or present issues. We all care about our candidates, but we can laugh with them too. Saturday Night Live does a great job of poking fun, most of those in politics are able to laugh about it, and so should we. So lets use this blog to post jokes, don't take jabs at people, just jokes. Let's make this a fun board. And I will go first.
A seedy-looking old man was sitting in the first row at a town meeting, heckling the President as he delivered a lengthy speech.
Finally the president pointed to the heckler and said, "Will that gentleman who differs with me please stand up and tell the audience what he has ever done for the good of America?"
"Well, Mr. Obama," the man said in a firm voice. "I voted against you in the last election."
Q: Why does Mitt Romney pay such a low tax rate?
A: He claims 47% of Americans as dependents.
