Do you look forward to receiving your Mid-American Energy bill each month?

This screen shot of the bill from the Net Zero house in Prairie Trail demonstrates that by harnessing the power of the earth's resources, owners can now take back control of energy costs more than ever before.

From passive green homes all the way to net zero designs, the level of energy savings are planned before a home is built. For example, something as simple as placing a new home correctly on the lot it's built on maximizes solar exposure and saves thousands of dollars over the ownership cycle.

Adding a solar array or geothermal heating and cooling puts those savings on steroids.

While we don't have control over the rising costs of energy, it's nice to know we now can have control over the bill that comes in the mail each month.

$10.73 has a nice ring to it.
