Ankeny Community Theatre will kick off the 2011-2012 season and their 30th anniversary celebration with Pat Cook's murder mystery, Dead Giveaway. The story focuses on five elderly women who live together even though they don't like each other. What is the deep dark secret they are trying to hide? An undercover policewoman is hired to find out the answer to this question but discovers that there is much more going on at this house than first thought. Dead Giveaway has more than enough Halloween surprises to keep audiences intrigued to the very end of the show. The show is directed by Harold Mosier, assisted by Dawn Hockemeyer.

Dead Giveaway will run September 30 - October 16. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 and Sunday matinees begin at 2:00.
