DESCRIPTION:Tree and Branch Recycling Days will be  held on Saturday\,&nb
 sp\;May 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, at the City Maintenance  Facility loc
 ated at 211 SE Lorenz Dr. across the street from Des Moines  Area Commun
 ity College on South Ankeny Blvd.&nbsp\;  Residents residing within the 
 corporate limits of Ankeny may participate in this program.   Trees and 
 branches must have a trunk size no larger than 8" in diameter  will not 
 be accepted. Debris larger than 8&rdquo\; in diameter will not be  accep
 ted because of its inability to be recycled through the city  chipper. B
 ranches less than one (1) inch in diameter\, twigs\, tree roots\,  stump
 s and yard waste will not be accepted. Residents are asked to have the c
 ut end of their branches stacked at the end of their vehicles for easy r
 emoval.   Commercial vehicles and trucks larger than a pickup are prohib
 ited from participating in this recycling program.
