Dowling Catholic Boys Cross Country Take 5th at the Roy Griak Invitational

     Congratulations to the Dowling Catholic boys cross country team on their 5th place win Saturday against a highly competitive field of 51 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational in St Paul Minnesota. Spencer Clark, currently ranked #9 in the state, led the Maroons with an 8th place individual finish out of nearly 500 runners.  Ryan Schweitzer placed 12th.  Additional runners scoring for the team were Patrick Finnegan, Ian McKenzie and Tommy Merfield.  Other team members running were Sam Amadeo, Jake Prebeck, Jonathon Hittner, Joe Carmody and Nick Smith. 

      The Maroons are currently the fifth ranked team in the state.  The team will celebrate their bye week with the traditional Bishop Austin Dowling Memorial Classic Race for a Cure Classic intersquad race this Thursday.
