Construction Continues on the Dolce Vita Salon Suites In Ankeny's Prairie Trail (BLOG)

Late this year, Eric Minner of T & E Construction Inc., started development on Britni Smith's dream of owning her own salon suites. Britni knew salon suites were becoming increasingly popular as it allows stylists to own their own business, be their own boss, but yet, be in a location that caters to their needs. Britni and her husband, Cody Smith, chose the new, growing area of Prairie Trail in Ankeny for this business.

The location will feature 17 luxurious suites, and 6 have been leased already. Amenities for stylists will include free laundry, cable, internet, intercom system, and utilities included.

Britni Smith is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Marketing/Management. She went to cosmetology school in Scottsdale, Arizona at Kohler Academy, which is the only Bumble and Bumble school in the world. Britni shares, "I am very excited to open up a high end salon in the great community of Ankeny, where my husband and I call home. We love Ankeny and have been blessed with our first child this past summer. I look forward to working with Ankeny residents the near future!"
