Ankeny Parents’ Association Endorses Peebles in School Board Election

Parents association said Peebles has the best vision for the district.

The Ankeny Parents’ Association announced Wednesday, the endorsement of candidate Justine Peebles for Ankeny School Board. 

Peebles is the only challenger for three at-large seats. Incumbents: Pat Cahill, George Tracy and Todd Shafer are also running to be re-elected to their seats on Sept. 10.

The association said it favors Peebles for her vision for the district which follows below:

  • The Ankeny Parents’ Association is comprised largely of parents who volunteer on various district committees, parent-teacher organizations as well as in the classroom, the APA’s goal is to promote fiscal responsibility and programs in the school district while maintaining high curriculum standards.
