Here's some news and tips for your young reader from Northeast Elementary School.
First-graders at Northeast Elementary School in Ankeny are becoming better readers by reading to one another in different ways.
Students took turns reading and also practiced echo reading in which one student reads from the book and the other repeats what they heard while trying to mimic the first student's voice.
