"When my Sunday school teacher died from cancer when she was only 45, I was devastated," St. Clair said in a press release sent to Ankeny Patch. "I still get very sad thinking about it. I want to help someone else so they don't have to go through what I did, even if it's just one less family not having to go through it."

St. Clair's goal is to raise at least $1,000. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
