When returning to pick out my tuxedos i had walked into a different bridal salon! I quickly found out they do not process customer complaints well at all! I was refused service for my tuxedos b/c a complaint I made involved one of the managers boyfriends for another business matter. I was informed they have the right to refuse service to anyone.(Please check their reviews on google! as I was told I am the only complaint!)Upon getting my sash for my dress home we noticed there was a seam down the right side. My mother returned the sash. She was told by the owner that they don't typically do refunds, but considering our problems she would and then proceeded to tell my mother that the customer is not always right! Two weeks later I receive a phone call from the owner stating that my dresses were in. I brought my bridesmaid in as I was no longer comfortable to be in the store alone, we witnessed the ignorance in full form. While inspecting my dresses I asked her if the sash I tried on had the same seam. She said yes, and that she could not believe it. Then proceeded in telling me that my sash was so BIG that she just divided it into two, and made two belts out of it. I was Mortified! Then while checking us out the OWNER couldn't even work her own computer system, and ended up unable to print off my pick up forms! Don't let your daughters be treated like I was! Go elsewhere! As an Ankeny native I am ashamed to know there is a business in my home town that treats people so poorly!

Going into this experience I didn't know what to expect. This was my first store that I had gone into and I just went in to get an idea about what I wanted. I didn't have an appointment but I was still getting treated like I did. I didn't want to hold them up so I ended up scheduling an appointment to come back in. My experience was even better! I was able to tell my consultant just the feel and look I was going for and she knew right away what she was wanting to put me in! I saw her writing little notes on the side and I ended up going with a short dress which I never in a million years thought I would pick. I was very pleased!
My consultant was great! She was very helpful and she helped me find my perfect gown. I just want to thank the Bridal Connection so much for helping me with my bridal gown shopping experience and making it an experience that I will not ever forget. I want to recommend the Bridal Connection to any and all brides. The staff is amazing with their helping hand and they really listen to you here and they have the most beautiful gowns. Also to help out they have The Connection that is next door to help with tuxds, bridesmaids, flower girl, and mothers gowns. I hope that when you read this review you feel how the Bridal Connection made me feel, beautiful, and stress free.
My entourage enjoyed the experience as well. My mom and maid of honor felt at home and loved how my consultant was talking to them and engaging them in every aspect thoughout my experience.
My experience at Bridal Connection was amazing! The staff was very kind and helpful to me, my family, and my bridesmaids. When I first went there I wasn't sure what type of silhouette I was looking for, but my consultant was very helpful and she found me the perfect dress. The beading was amazing, it was more than I could ask for. The sihouette that I picked was a mermaid dress and it just hugged me in all the right places and I felt amazing.. If it wasn't for their great customer service I don't know what I would have done. I was already in over my head with the wedding and the staff here at Bridal Connection really helped me enjoy my shopping experience and was a big part in making me look amazing on that special day.
I could not say it enough: The Bridal Connection was the best experience i have ever had choosing my bridal gown. I am a very picky person :) but the staff at the bridal connection was so helpful and i found the dress of my dreams at a price i can definately afford. if you are searching for the perfect dress for your big day i would reccommend The Bridal Connection a hundred times over!
I went to The Bridal Connection for my whole wedding party, myself, bridesmaids, tuxes, and flower girls dresses, etc. I had the BEST experiance there! My dress came in sooner then expected! My bridesmaids' ordered all different colors, and different lengths, and The Bridal Connection recieved them ALL CORRECT, I couldn't believe it! We needed some alterations, which we were told should be expected, so there were no suprises. The Seamstress knew exactly what she was doing, and gave me even more confidence in the store and her ability to get my gown exactly the right fit. The Tuxes were one of the easiest part of our wedding, Melissa knew what we were wanting and received the right tuxes about a week from our wedding date.
The Bridal Connection is a fabulous little boutique. The staff is always ready to help and they actually know about what they were selling me. Never one time were they pushy with me to purchase, they were incredibly patient with me. I would have never been ready for my "BIG" day if the staff had not been so helpful!

Don't waste your time here! I was recently engaged and made the Bridal connection my 2nd stop when searching for my wedding gown. I was driving by and decided to stop in, even though I didn't have an appointment. There were a number of clueless teenagers that they call consultants standing around not doing anything, but they all seemed extremely annoyed that I wanted to look at dresses. I picked out a couple that I liked and were in my budget, but the girl helping me proceeded to tell me how they wouldn't look good on my figure since I am a plus size bride. She then went to grab one that was $500 over my budget and no where close to what I was describing. As soon as I mentioned that I had a favorite at the first store, she told me that I "probably already found my dress" and disappeared. I tried on the 2nd dress by myself... but realized that there was no way I was going to give this store my money and left the others hanging in the room and tried to walk out. As I was leaving, a different girl tried to stop me because they "hadn't got my information yet"... i said not to bother and left. I'll NEVER recommend this store to ANYONE EVER.
Furthermore, after reading the reviews on here compared to those on google... I am nearly POSITIVE that they are writing their own reviews - read them, you'll see what I'm talking about! They don't even sound real.
