VIDEO: Bouncing is What Tiggers (and This Kitty) Do Best!

Each Friday, Ankeny Patch will feature an animal from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa waiting to be adopted into a good home. This week, we introduce you to Tigger, a male domestic short hair kitty.

"The wonderful thing about Tiggers.....Is Tiggers are wonderful things.....Their tops are made out of rubber.....The bottoms are made out of springs.....They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy.....Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!" We just couldn't resist. Kira Youngberg, an animal care technician with the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, took a moment last week to introduce us to a real-life Tigger. He may not be orange, but he has the stripes to prove he's got what it takes to be a Tigger and is currently awaiting adoption at the ARL Main facility. If Tigger had a middle name, it would probably have something to do with 'having lots of energy'. Whether it's a ball or a feather toy, he'll play till he drops and will even find time to sneak a snuggle…
