A group of students at Ankeny Dance and Performing Arts Academy were treated to a special class Sunday taught by two performers in Broadway's "Bring It On: The Musical," which concluded at the Civic Center in Des Moines this past weekend.
A group of students at Ankeny Dance and Performing Arts Academy were treated to a special class Sunday morning courtesy of two Broadway performers. Ariana DeBose and Gregory Haney, both cast members of Broadway's traveling show, "Bring It On: The Musical", took time this weekend to teach a Broadway Master's class to both advanced and intermediate students. DeBose and Haney taught the students in their respective classes a new routine and choreography. The classes were followed by a question-and-answer session with the two performers during which students could ask questions about performing on Broadway, working professionally in dance and more.
