Ankeny Retailers to Host Special Shopping Event for the Ladies
Thursday night's "Ladies Night Out" is a cooperative effort between more than a dozen Ankeny retailers and will feature special events and lots of prizes.
Ladies, Thursday night in Ankeny is your night. Several Ankeny retailers have come together to plan the first Ladies Night Out passport event, which will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. at more than a dozen stores. The event is the culmination of a verbal commitment made by Traci Houghton, owner of Barefoot Chic Boutique in Ankeny. “During (my store’s) grand opening, I said I wanted to bring a fun, unique event here for people in the community,” Houghton said. During the event, each participating business will have various specials going on at its location.
