Barefoot Chic Brings Trendy to Ankeny
Owner of Ankeny's Barefoot Chic Boutique said the store carries a little something for everyone.
When Ankeny resident and Barefoot Chic Boutique owner Traci Houghton wanted to open her own business in town, she was torn between two of her passions. "I've always loved fashion,” Houghton said, “but I also have an interest in fitness and nutrition. Ultimately, Houghton decided to go the fashion route – and Barefoot Chic Boutique was born. Barefoot Chic, located at 110 NW 9th St. Ste. 5 in Ankeny, opened on May 17. The store carries women's clothing and some men's clothing, although Houghton said she plans on adding more men’s clothing and accessories later this fall.
