A Spoonful of Sugar....

Sugar causes weight gain and increases the risk of diabetes.  It also lowers the good cholesterol, HDL, and increases the bad cholesterol, LDL.

Sugar contributes to premature aging due to the constant raising of blood sugar, which triggers the production of advanced glycation-end products, thereby speeding the ageing of skin and vital organs.

Sugar causes an overgrowth of unhealthy yeast which may contribute to yeast infections.

It can cause bloating, fatigue and cravings.  Finally, if that isn't enough, sugar decreases the body's immune system response by suppressing the formation of white blood cells and disrupting vitamin C absorption.
