Isn't Obamacare Wonderful!

Obamacare is not even fully implemented yet, and it's been so "successful" already, hasn't it! Right?

Obamacare is starting to take full effect, and it's living up to all the promises of being just awesome!

I mean, other than having things like a $2000 deductible.  Other than that it's the best!

Well, other than having things like $20,000 in total premiums for a family.  Other than that it's so good!

Well, other than doctors dumping insurance plans and just requiring cash so they can charge less because they don't have to do all the red tape and paperwork.  Other than that it's going to work so well!

Well, other than local governments and businesses that are cutting hours in order to afford Obamacare.  Other than that it's going to help everyone!

It's so good that Congress and Congressional staff are leaving or retiring in order to avoid Obamacare, saying it's "not fair" to subject them to Obamacare like everyone else.  Other than that everyone loves it!

It's so awesome that the Democrats are already blaming the GOP for problems which haven't even happened yet!

It's so good that Nancy Pelosi can't remember promising that premiums would be lowered.  I mean, premiums are only rising 64% to 146% in one state and 88% in another.  And this after the president promised to reduce premiums by $2500 per family per year.  And we are now having a shortage of primary care doctors, which is going to be great because we are pushing more and more people into the system to use those doctors.

It's so good that 2/3rds of Americans aren't sure if they will buy insurance under Obamacare.  The tax for not buying insurance is only $95 next year, which is far cheaper than the insurance premiums.  Of course, if people fail to buy insurance, the private insurance companies will either not be able to afford to stay in business or will have to raise premiums a lot to cover costs, which will allow the government to vilify private insurance, and will force people onto government insurance, which creates the single payer system they've wanted all along.

Of course, if Obamacare doesn't get a whole bunch of young adults to buy into the system it will likely fail, as those young adults will provide the funds to cover at least some of the increased costs.  The problem is those young people, who typically don't buy insurance because they don't use it, are dropping or not buying insurance because they want to avoid the higher premiums that we weren't supposed to have in the first place.

Of course, the president's non-political political PAC is running ads saying just how wonderful Obamacare is.  Odd that those who complain about conservative non-profits don't seem to have a problem with OFA.  Obamacare is so wonderful that it is going to share your personal health info with federal and state agencies, and do so without your permission.  The IRS's data mining on you is going to put all the NSA's data mining to shame.  And they are charged with enforcing Obamacare.  Are you still ok with the IRS's intimidation tactics?

It's so wonderful and people are so willing to sign up that the administration is recruiting the NFL and likely the NBA to promote Obamacare.  Many of the young people who they need to buy into the system live in cities with pro teams, so the government is going to use those athletes to push the propaganda that people need to support something that their own common sense says is not a good deal.

So other than all these things, Obamacare is just wonderful!  And the administration is more than happy to make you believe it.  2+2=....5?
