Sept. 3

Douglas J. Schuessler, 46, Slater, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of East First Street.

Sept. 5

Joshua M. Montgomery, 33, Nevada, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Northeast Delaware Avenue.

Sept. 6

Police responded to the 900 block of Southwest 28th Street at about 8:28 a.m. for a report of a burglary.

Sept. 7

Brittany R. Herman, 20, Ankeny, was charged with domestic abuse assault following an incident that occurred in the 1800 block of Northwest Pine Road.

Police responded to 2000 block of North Ankeny Boulevard at about 1:15 p.m. for a report of a vehicle burglary.

Police responded to Hy-Vee, 410 N. Ankeny Blvd., at about 7:01 p.m. for a report of a vehicle burglary.

Sept. 8

Francisco J. Munguia, 20, Des Moines, was charged with second-degree burglary following an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of West First Street.
